51 Dead in “Gen Z” Protests

Kathmandu – Authorities have confirmed that 51 people have died across the country during the “Gen Z” protests.

According to police, among the deceased are 3 police personnel, 1 Indian national, and other Nepali citizens.

Today, the bodies of four youths who lost their lives during the protests were cremated at Pashupati Aryaghat. After postmortem examinations at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, their families carried out the final rites at the Aryaghat.
