Democratic Socialist Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur has been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment today due to health problems.
Thakur, who arrived in Bhairahawa for a party function was treated in Bhim hospital in Bhairahawa soon after he said he had health problems.A team including doctor Siddharth Pandey of Bhim Hospital in Bhairahawa was deployed to treat him.
Thakura has been brought to Kathmandu for further treatment after he was diagnosed with chest problems and high fever and pneumonia. Thakur is undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu.
