The meteorological department has requested to take necessary precautions to avoid cold in the next 24 hours as there is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places of high hilly and mountainous areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Province No. 1.

According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of westerly winds is normal in the country at present. According to the Division, there will be partial cloud cover across the country tonight. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous terrain of Province No. 1, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.

Similarly, there will be partial cloud cover across the country tomorrow afternoon. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous terrain of Gandaki and Karnali and there is a possibility of partial cloud cover at night. The weather will remain normal on Sunday despite partial cloud cover across the country.
