Nepal enters ICC T20 World Cup semi-finals: Great win against Canada

Nepal has won today’s match between Nepal and Canada in the ICC Global T20 World Cup qualifiers.

Canada choose to bat first after winning the toss and was bowled out for 80 in 15 overs in the final of the group stage at Al Amerat Stadium in Oman today. The Nepali team lost 2 wickets in the 14th over and won the match by 8 wickets.

With today’s game, Nepal has entered the semifinals.

Nepal defeated Oman by 39 runs

Nepal has made a victorious start by defeating Oman by 39 runs in the global selection of ICC T20 World Cup.

Following the usual target of 118 runs set by Nepal at the Al-Amerat Cricket Ground, Oman lost all their wickets in the allotted 17 overs and were all out for 78 runs.

Oman’s Nasim Khushi scored 24 runs off 18 balls with one four and two sixes. Similarly, Jitendra Singh 9, Khawar Ali 7, Aamir Kalim 9, Ayan Khan 3, Jasim Maqsood could not add only 2 runs.

After losing the toss and opting to bat, Nepal lost 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored 117 runs.

Oman, Philippines and Canada are in the group of Nepal in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers. After everyone has played against each other, the team in the top two will reach the semifinals. Nepal will face the Philippines on Saturday.

The top two teams of the group will reach the semifinals. The team that reaches the final will be selected for the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia at the end of this year.
