All three districts of the Kathmandu Valley to implement the odd-even rule on vehicles

As the corona infection is on the rise, all three districts of the Kathmandu Valley are going to implement a strict system of odd-even rule on public and private vehicles with effect from 12 at night tomorrow.

A joint meeting of the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur today has decided to implement the system on public and private vehicles from 12 at night tomorrow, as per the procedure of smart lockdown. The meeting also said that a system will be implemented until the risk of corona infection is reduced. The meeting also issued an order not to hold public meetings or any kind of gatherings during the period. It has also issued instructions to close down gym halls, cinema halls, and clubs and not to provide physical education in schools. Similarly, it has been requested to fully comply with public health standards.
