An earthquake occurred in Khotang at 8:13 am on Sunday.
The National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center has reported that an earthquake of 6 magnitudes occurred with the epicentre around Martimbirta in Khotang.
The shock of the earthquake was also felt in districts around Khotang and Kathmandu. An earthquake destroyed 2 houses in Bhojpur Municipality-12 Taksar and one house in Sakela Rural Municipality. The exact details of what other damages were caused by the earthquake have not yet been confirmed.
