A clash has broken out between police and Janmat Party cadres in Janakpurdham after they tried to enter the polling station with sticks and batons.

Leaders and cadres of Janmat Party Nepal have been protesting in Janakpur since this morning. The Janmat Party cadres have first staged a demonstration with the slogan “Give manure to the farmers and vote”. Ck Raut cadres had a clash with the police while trying to enter the polling station. Police also fired five rounds of tear gas during the clash. Although the protestors have been scattered from the voting site, they are continuing the rally and protest in different places of Janakpurdham.
