8 security personnel injured, 11 rounds of rubber bullets and 16 rounds of tear gas fired by the police

A clash took place between CK Raut’s cadres and police at Godar Chowk of Ganeshman Charnath Municipality-8 in Dhanusha while the road was being opened after CK Raut’s cadres tried to block the East-West Highway.

Eight security personnel have been injured in the clash. Three protesters also got injured after getting hit with rubber bullets.

Police fired 11 rounds of rubber bullets and 16 rounds of tear gas but are not being able to take the situation under control. Gadar Chowk is tense now. Raut’s activists have taken to the streets in protest.
