Commission’s directive to update information by April 28

The National Information Commission has directed to update the information by April 28. The commission has directed to publish the information automatically every three months.

According to Information Commissioner Ratna Prasad Mainali, the commission has directed the public bodies to publish the details of the third quarter which should be published automatically every three months as per sections 3 and 4 of the Right to Information Act, 2064 BS.

The act stipulates that public bodies must update their office information every three months.
