A meeting of the Central Committee of the Nepali Congress is being held at 3 pm today to discuss the formation of the Central Performance Committee.

After the central committee became larger than expected, Nepali Congress is about to form an executive Performance committee. The constitution of the Nepali Congress party also provides for the formation of a 45-member Central Performance Committee. Accordingly, the committee will have 14 office bearers and 31 members. As there is a provision in the Legislation that the executive Performance committee can do the work of the central committee, an executive Performance committee will be formed to discuss the work of the party and issues of national importance. Other current issues will also be discussed in today’s meeting.
