Cooperation at all three levels is essential for economic prosperity: PM Deuba

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the country should move forward by maintaining coordination, cooperation and coexistence for the economic prosperity and development of the country.

At the 49th meeting of the National Development Working Committee, he assured that the government would always facilitate the implementation of development projects and stressed on the need for all parties to be diligent in implementing the past decisions of the committee.

The meeting also discussed the progress of development projects and programs and effective implementation for achieving the objectives in the coming days and making policy decisions for the solution of the problems seen in the implementation.

On the occasion, Vice Chairman of the National Planning Commission Dr. Bishwanath Poudel gave a presentation on the economic indicators, expenditure and progress of the six months of FY 2077/07 and FY 2078/79.

In the program, the Municipal Association, Federation of District Coordinating Committees, Chief Secretary, Chairperson of National Natural Resources and Finance Commission, Auditor General, Chief Minister and other ministers shared their views and mentioned about the problems and solutions in the implementation.

The meeting was attended by Ministers, Chief Ministers, Ministers of State, Auditor General, Chairperson of the National Natural Resources and Finance Commission, Chief Secretary to the Government of Nepal, members of the Commission, Secretaries, and Chief Secretaries of the provinces.
