UML chairperson and parliamentary party leader KP Sharma Oli said that the current political situation is serious and would take a decision without any provocation.
He made the remarks after hearing the views of UML lawmakers at a meeting of the UML parliamentary party held at Lhotse Bhawan in New Baneshwor.
During the meeting, Bhim Rawal and Ghanashyam Bhusal said that UML should not go to the polls carrying the issue of indicted Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jabra and Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). He also said that going to the polls with these two issues would be a serious political mistake.
Chairman Oli, in a reply, said that a decision should be taken without provocation as there is a serious political situation. He said the secretariat would decide on the matter.
