After the Kathmandu Metropolitan City started to tighten the footpath trade, the vendors submitted a memorandum to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City and protested in front of the office of the Metropolitan City today.

Today, they have submitted a memorandum with 3 points demand in the name of Swatantra Rastrawadi Swarojgar Shramik Sangharsh Samiti.

They protested in front of the office of the Metropolitan city, demanding the street vendors to be documented and provided with identity cards, not to be displaced without an alternative, and the inhuman behaviour of the administration to be stopped. They have also demanded the previous agreement be implemented.
