The meeting of the ruling coalition held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar has ended.

It is said that discussions have been held on the modalities of coordinating the election and how to go to the polls in the local level election .
An election preparation and monitoring committee has also been formed to coordinate the local level elections. The meeting has formed a monitoring committee under the coordination of senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel.

The meeting agreed to decide on the modalities of coordination on the basis of the reports from the lower level and the meeting of the Preparation and Monitoring Committee will be held on Wednesday.

Considering the state of the country’s economy, the meeting also decided to organize a large-scale interaction with the political parties, economists, planners and stakeholders on behalf of the government and take concrete steps based on suggestions.

In the meeting, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba also briefed about his three-day visit to India. The meeting concluded that the overall visit to India was successful.
