Six months after taking office, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khan has unveiled the Home Administration Reform Action Plan.

Minister Khan has unveiled the 206-point Home Administration Reform Action Plan-2078 BS at Singha Durbar today.

The minister’s action plan includes everything from setting standards for cannabis cultivation and use to distributing citizenship at the local level. The ministry is preparing to prepare procedures for the medicinal use of cannabis within six months. The Policy Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Division is working on that.

The ministry also plans to formulate and implement an immigration policy.
