International flights on hold at TIA due to poor visibility

International flights are on hold at Tribhuvan International Airport due to poor visibility. According to the Tribhuvan Airport Office, the flights are now managed through equipment-based flight and landing systems.

Due to which the flights are on hold. At present, Singapore Airlines from Singapore, IndiGo Airlines from Mumbai and Nepal Airlines from Delhi are flying on the sky of Terai.

During IFR flight, landing is not possible as fast as in VFR system. That is why by holding the flights, plane take off and land at a certain time
