Macron elected as French President for a second term

French President Emmanuel Macron has been elected for a second term. In the second round, he defeated his rival Marin Le Pen.

Despite winning the most votes among the right-wing leaders so far, Marin Le Pen loss the election . Despite losing the presidency, Penn said she had won the most votes ever.Macron received 58.55 percent of the vote, while Penn received 41.45 percent.

Addressing supporters after the victory, Macron said the election was now over and that he was committed to becoming the next president of all.
