Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Prachanda has said that he will hold a press conference today.

After the decision to accept the explanatory announcement about MCC, Prachanda has been forced to settle the equation within the party.

It is said that Prachanda held a press conference to clarify about MCC in such a background. According to Prachanda’s secretariat, a press conference will be held at his residence in Khumaltar at 3 pm today.

Half a dozen leaders, including party leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha, have expressed dissatisfaction over the decision to accept the MCC at an extended meeting of the party’s central office on Sunday.
