Meeting between ruling parties continues at PM’s residence in Baluwatar

A meeting between the ruling parties is continuing at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar. The meeting is said to be discussing how to move forward in the upcoming National Assembly elections.

For the upcoming National Assembly elections, the ruling coalition partners Congress, Maoists, Unified Socialists and JASAPA are preparing to go to the polls by forming an alliance. National Assembly elections will be held in all the seven states for the 19 other seats to be vacated from Fagun, except for one seat to be nominated by the President.

The date for registration of candidates for the National Assembly election has been fixed for tomorrow and the polling will be held on January 26, according to the Election Commission.
