Kathmandu- Nepal Police has opened applications for a large-scale recruitment drive to fill various positions.

According to a notice issued today by the Human Resource Development Department, Recruitment Selection Branch of Police Headquarters, applications are invited for around 1,600 posts.

Out of the total, 1,553 posts are for Police Constables, 11 for Office Assistants (barbers), 15 for Sweepers, and 15 for Sports Quota. These positions will be filled through an open competition under the inclusive recruitment system.

Eligible Nepali citizens can submit applications from Ashoj 19 to Kartik 28.

For the sports quota, only athletes specializing in football, volleyball, cricket, athletics, judo, karate, and taekwondo are eligible to apply, as stated in the notice.
