Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he will not enter into any agreement against the national interest after reports emerged that the government is positive about the US military agreement on the State Partnership Program (SPP).

In a meeting with top leaders of the ruling coalition, Prime Minister Deuba assured that no agreement would be reached against the national interest after the government was sharply criticized at the civilian level for being positive about the US military agreement on the State Partnership Program (SPP).
