Kathmandu- Only about 42 percent of the Sustainable Development Goals have been achieved by 2024.

The National Planning Commission has stated that while preparing the implementation action plan for the 16th Development Plan, it has given priority to the localization of Sustainable Development Goals and the process of upgrading from least developed countries.

The Commission has stated that the 16th Development Plan, SDGs, and LDC graduation will not be implemented separately, but are interactive and have been developed to support each other.

The focus has been on ensuring resource utilization and technical efficiency in the implementation of the 16th Plan. The plan aims to contribute to the successful implementation of the plan by strengthening coordination between the federal, provincial, and local governments.

To implement the 16th Plan, an action plan is being prepared based on coordination and collaboration between the three levels of government, integration and interrelationship of plans, and ensuring equality and justice.
