Leader of the main opposition party UML Bhim Rawal has demanded that the party’s stance on the issue of MCC should be clear in the meeting of the party’s parliamentary party.
CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal has demanded a serious discussion on the MCC agreement at a meeting of the party’s parliamentary parties.
He said that some points of the agreement and implementation of MCC are not conducive to the national independence, independence, self-respect and constitution of the country.
‘UML should state its clear position on MCC to the people while defending the independence and interests of the party on such a sensitive issue,’Rawal said.
Meanwhile, some leaders, including Chairman KP Oli, have been saying that they will express their views only after the coalition agrees first. Earlier, Chairman Oli had said that he would support the MCC’s approval on the condition of the Speaker’s resignation and the break of an alliance.
