The passport department will be open on Sundays, the day of public holiday. The department will be open on holidays to make electronic passports available easily.

According to the information issued by the Passport Department, as the pressure of service recipients in the department is increasing remarkably, it has started providing passport service even on public holidays.

The department will be open every Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm effective from May 29.The department is also providing passport related services to the service recipients who book the date to apply for the passport.
