Kathmandu – CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that although the remaining work of the peace process should be completed with everyone’s consent, it has been used as the last resort to weaken the Maoists.

Prachanda said this while speaking at a program on ‘The issue of peace process and publicizing disappeared citizens’ organized by the family on the occasion of the 26th commemoration day of Rajendra Dhakal, who was disappeared by the state during maoist insurgency..

Prachanda said that there was a problem in completing the remaining work of the peace process because some political forces considered it as a weapon to be used against the Maoists. It has not been completed because the peace process was considered the last weapon to weaken the Maoists. Now, I think we should take this issue to the streets and the parliament to gradually increase the pressure. Our party is ready to lead from the side of the victims.’
