Nepal Police Club defeated Chyasal Youth Club in the Martyrs’ Memorial ‘A’ Division League Football Tournament.

Police defeated Chyasal Youth Club by 2-1 in a match played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor today. Ravi Shankar Paswan became the hero in the victory of the police. He scored both goals. For Chyasal, Mausa Abagana returned a goal.

In a very competitive match, Paswan scored in the 37th minute to give the Police an early lead. He scored on the ball provided by Nirkumar Rai. In the 52nd minute of the match, Chyasal’s Mausa scored from the penalty spot to level the match 1-1. Chyasal was awarded a penalty after Police Captain Suman Subedi fought Rumesh Bartaula inside the penalty area in the 51st minute.

Then in the 70 th minute of the match, Paswan scored his second individual goal to give the Police a 2-1 victory. Paswan scored an excellent goal from inside the penalty area with the ball provided by Suman Lama. With this victory, Police has added 10 points in nine games. The police score has risen to tenth place in the table.
