Currently the country is under the influence of westerly winds. In Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki, there is general cloud cover and in other hilly areas, there is partial to normal cloud cover and there is partial cloud cover in the Terai region of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be normal to full cloud cover in Far West, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces and normal cloud cover in Bagmati province on Thursday.

Light to moderate rains with thunderstorms are expected in most parts of the far west, Karnali and Lumbini provinces and in some parts of Gandaki and Bagmati provinces.

Light snow is expected in most parts of the high hills and mountains of Far West, Karnali, Lumbini and Gandaki and in some parts of the high hills and mountains of Bagmati and Province 1.
