Kathmandu- Press Chautari Nepal has decided to hold its 10th General Convention from 7th March to 9th March 2025 in Biratnagar.

The Secretariat meeting of Press Chautari Nepal said that since working journalists still have to work for minimum wage and the rights and interests of journalists such as the Social Security Fund have not been implemented, the General Convention will also focus on that.

Press Chautari Nepal has decided to conclude the provincial and district conventions before the General Convention. According to to the secretariat, instructions have been given to conclude the district convention by 7th february and the provincial convention by 19th february.
