Qatar’s Princess Sheikh Asma Al Thani has successfully climbed the world’s third highest mountain, Kanchenjunga.
She became the first Arab woman to climb Mount Kanchenjunga on May 8. Posting her status on Instagram, Sheikh Asma said she was proud to be the first Arab woman to reach the summit of Kanchenjunga (8,586 m).
Thani, who had earlier failed to climb Mt. Everest, said that she was preparing to go to the base camp to climb Mt. Everest again.
