Minister of State for Health of Lumbini Bimala Oli has been arrested by the police.

Police have arrested Oli on the charge of assaulting Ekraj Basnet’s wife and daughter, a resident of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-5.District Police Chief SP Suresh Kafle said that Oli has been taken under control after the locals reported the incident.

Minister of State Oli has been involved in various controversies in the past as well. Earlier, after a picture of YCL activist Ekraj Basnet and Oli became public on social media, Oli objected to the attempt of her character assassination by associating a photo with a man.
