Three people have been killed in Madhesh Pradesh due to strong winds. Three people were killed when a tree fell on them in Sabaila Municipality of Dhanusha and Baudhimai Municipality of Rautahat.
Two people have died when a tree fell on the premises of Fakirchanda High School in Dhanusha’s Sabaila Municipality-12 due to strong winds. The deceased have been identified as Pratima Kumari Sada, 8, daughter of Mahendra Sadaki of Dhanusha and Arvind Sada, 7, son of Chandeshwar Sada, according to Dhanusha Chief Superintendent of Police Basanta Rajaure.
Both died on the spot after a tree fell on the school premises due to strong winds. Similarly, a woman died after being trapped in her house in Rautahat due to strong winds and incessant rains since last night. The deceased has been identified as Phulmatiya Devi, 45, wife of Ram Mangal Ray Yadav, a resident of Ajagabi in Baudhimai Municipality-1. According to the District Police Office, Rautahat, the victim died on the way to Maulapur for treatment.
