Two leaders of the Maoist center have been appointed as ministers in the Karnali state government.

Krishna Shah has been appointed as Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning and Rato Kami as Minister of Water Resources and Power Development. Shah is an MP from Jajarkot while Kami is a directly elected MP from Rukum .
It is said that the state chief Tilak Pariyar is preparing to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the two newly appointed ministers today.

The Maoists recalled the previous two ministers, Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Vindman Bista and Water, Resources and Energy Development Minister Ganesh Prasad Singh and appointed new ministers.
