U-20 National Rugby Championship to be held in Chitwan for the first time

The Ankuram Under-20 National Rugby Championship, organized by the Nepal Rugby Association and managed by the Chitwan Rugby Association, will start tomorrow at 6 am at the Krishnapur Sports Ground in Chitwan.

The one-day competition will be held tomorrow from 6 am to 5 pm. According to Suman Poudel, president of the Chitwan Rugby Association, all the preparations for the tournament have been completed and the players have already arrived in Chitwan.

According to Binod Tamang, coordinator of the competition, 10 clubs and district teams including men and women will participate in the competition.

In preparation for the U-18 Asian Trophy International Tournament to be held in Nepal next year, the competition has been started targeting the national team selection of players up to 18 years of age, said the coordinator Tamang.
