UCPN-M warns to leave the government if MCC is forcibly moved forward

The CPN-Maoist Center has said that the US aid project MCC cannot proceed in the status quo. The Maoists have also warned that the ruling coalition will break up if the government forcibly moves forward.

The government is preparing to submit the MCC to Parliament for approval today. A meeting of the Maoist parliamentary party held earlier has decided that the MCC cannot be moved forward and passed without amending the unequal conditions.

Stating that the UML is still obstructing the parliament, the UCPN (M) has said that no agenda can move forward in this situation.
