US Army Pacific Commanding General to visit Nepal

US Army Pacific Commanding General Charles A. Flynn will pay a four-day visit to Nepal from tomorrow.

Spokesperson of the Nepal Army Narayan Silwal said that General Flynn is scheduled to meet with the Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma. General Charles A. Flynn is scheduled to arrive in Nepal on Thursday tomorrow by a special US Army aircraft.

It is said that such a visit will further enhance the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, including the Nepalese and US forces. However, General Flynn’s visit to Nepal after the PM Deuba and Chief of Army Staff Sharma’s visit been scheduled to the US has been analyzed as a geopolitical link of the US Indo-Pacific Strategy against China.
