The government has postponed the rule of mandatory quarantine when coming to Nepal from countries where omicron variants of corona virus have spread.
The Immigration Department had issued a notice on Friday, stating that as per the decision of the Council of Ministers on November 29, it was mandatory to stay in hotel quarantine for seven days when coming to Nepal from 67 different countries. However, less than 24 hours later, Immigration posted a notice on its website stating that the decision had been postponed for now.
According to the information received, now the passengers coming from abroad will not have to stay in the mandatory quarantine.
