Russia’s new Borders treaties on State Duma for ratification

Russian President Vladimir Putin has submitted four new treaty agreements to the State Duma for ratification, incorporating four new territories annexed to Russia.

After the annexation, Russia recognized four territories of Ukraine as its territory. With the treaty agreement after the referendum, now the border of the four regions of Ukraine will be maintained as the border of Russia with Ukraine.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions signed a treaty on the unification of these regions with Russia.
