Germany has shut down half of the country’s nuclear power plants.
Germany, which is moving to increase its use of renewable energy by eliminating nuclear energy and bio-energy, has cut off half of its nuclear power plant.
Germany has shut down three of the country’s six nuclear power plants, saying the decision would have no effect on the energy sector. The decision has been taken forward even after the people opposed the plan, saying the nuclear power plants will have low carbon emissions.
Germany has announced plans to replace bio-energy and dismantle nuclear plants by 2030.
