The first meeting of the Congress Central Working Committee to be held today

A meeting of the Central Working Committee of the ruling party Nepali Congress will be held today.

According to Krishna Prasad Poudel, Chief Secretary of the Nepali Congress Central Office, the meeting will be held at the party’s central office in Sanepa at 2 pm.

A meeting of office bearers other than Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba held on Wednesday had decided to focus on local level election in the meeting of the Central Working Committee.

The meeting will also discuss the convening of 16 district conventions postponed due to the epidemic of Covid (19) and mobilization of the party’s fraternal and well-wishers organization, said spokesperson Mahat.

Congress had recently formed a 37-member executive committee.
