Thousands of British citizens have burned their energy bills protesting against the soaring energy prices.

Citizens marched in various cities of the UK and protested by burning their energy bills. People were all over the city holding a banner and signs like, “Can’t afford to live,” “Freeze profit, not people,” and “can’t pay won’t pay don’t pay”.

The protest took place as the new energy price increased the bill per average household from £1,971 annually to £2,500. The authorities have predicted that the energy bill could rise as high as £6,500 next year.

With the economic sanctions imposed by NATO countries on Russia , the energy crisis is increasing in European countries and the price of energy has reached a record high in history.
