Voting has started since morning in Bara 2, Chitwan 2, and Tanahun 1, where by-elections are held.

A total of 65 candidates are competing in three constituencies. 194 polling stations and 427 polling booths have been managed for voting. A public holiday has been given today in all three areas where elections will be held.

Voting started at 7 am and will continue till 5 pm according to the scheduled time.

By-Elections are being held in these three constituencies, as Ravi Lamichhane MP’s post was revoked in the citizenship case,( he was elected from Chitwan 2), Ramchandra Poudel got elected as President (who was elected from Tanahun 1), and Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav elected as a Vice President( who was elected from Bara 2).
