Coalition lasts till election: Nepal

Addressing party cadres at Bhaluwang in Dang district on Saturday, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal said that the five-party alliance will last till the election.

He said, “A single majority of any party is unlikely to be formed. So, we will form a common candidate in the National Assembly through a five-party alliance. He further added that the allegation of merger with UCPN (Maoist) is not true but there would be unity among the smaller leftist parties in the near future even though there is no immediate possibility of unity with any communist party.

In another context, Nepal said that the MCC should not be passed at its present condition. He said, “We cannot accept any such thing that may open the door for others to interfere in the internal affairs of Nepal. He also said that only issues not related to military and security issues would be acceptable.
