Seven different political parties today protested against the US aid project Millennium Challenge Compact (MCC). Stating that the agreement is treasonous, they have warned against approving it in the parliament.

Participants in the demonstrations by Communist Party of Nepal, CPN-Revolutionary Maoist, CPN, Scientific Socialist Communist Party of Nepal, CPN-Maoist Central Socialist, Patriotic People’s Democratic Front and Rastriya Janamorcha carried various playcards and banners saying that MCC agreement should not be ratified.
