The Nepali Congress has entrusted party president Sher Bahadur Deuba with the task of sending the official letter of nomination of candidates for the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections.

The meeting of the work performance Committee held at the Party Central Office Sanepa has decided to give instructions through the Central Office to propose and recommend the names of direct and proportional candidates for the election of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly, but to give the final responsibility of sending the nomination letter to Chairman Deuba.

Similarly, today’s meeting has entrusted the chief secretary of the office, Krishna Paudel to register the party to participate in the election. The meeting also decided to conduct an election-focused nationwide campaign from 26th August to the 9th of September.
