Election Commission cancels registration of 3 political parties

The Election Commission has revoked the registration of three political parties namely Nepal Yuva Kisan Party, 33 Daliya Morcha and Nepal Shanti Kshetra Parishad.

The Election Commission (EC) revoked the registration of all the three parties as they didn’t submit their audit reports even after the deadline given by the commission.

According to Article 41 of the Political Parties Act, 2073 BS, there is a provision that the Commission can impose a fine of up to Rs. 20,000 on the parties that do not submit the audit report and cancel the registration.
