It is prohibited to take gas cylinders inside the Singha Darbar from today.

According to the government’s policy to encourage the use of electricity for cooking, it has been banned from taking gas cylinders inside the Singha Darbar from today.

One of the security personnel stationed at the gate of Singha Darbar said that they had been ordered not to allow taking gas cylinders inside.

Through the budget for the financial year 2079/80, the government said that it will encourage the use of electricity and it will start from within the Singha Darbar.

Gas cylinders are being used in the canteens of ministries and agencies in Singha Durbar. Now there will be an electric stove.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply has written to all the ministries and agencies within the Singh Darbar and the budget item no. 253 was instructed to implement effectively and replace the gas cylinders .
