The eighth general convention of the CPN (Maoist Center), which has been shifting the election schedule for the third time to seek consensus, has ended today. The eighth general convention of the CPN (Maoist Center) has come to an end with the passing of the list of central members proposed by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in closed session this evening.

The meeting of the newly elected 299-member Central Committee will be held on Monday. Chairman Dahal has said that an agreement has been reached among the office bearers and the decision will be taken at tomorrow’s meeting.
