Ministry of Home Affairs directs to take action against medical colleges charging high fees.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the concerned district administration offices to take action against the medical colleges which are charging extra fees other than prescribed by the Medical Education Commission.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed the district administration to find out if any colleges have been taking extra fees and submit the report to the ministry after taking legal actions against such medical colleges.

Lately, medical colleges have been charging extra fees to students and preventing them from studying without paying such fees. A few days ago, Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar barred MBBS students from entering the college without paying extra fees.
