MP Narayan Dutta Bhatta collapses during National Assembly meeting

Kathmandu – Nepali Congress MP Narayan Dutta Bhatta, who arrived at the National Assembly meeting while it was in progress, collapsed during the meeting.

Bhatta, who suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes, had also registered to speak in today’s meeting. After he fell unwell, National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal gave time to Congress MP Bishnukumari Sapkota to speak in his place.

He is currently undergoing treatment at the National Assembly’s health room inside the parliament building.
