Nepali team returned home today after winning the title of Senior Women’s Central Zone Volleyball Championship in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Youth and Sports Minister Maheshwar Jung Gahatraj and supporters welcomed the winning team at Tribhuvan International Airport today.

Led by captain Aruna Shahi, the Nepali team defeated Uzbekistan by 3-2 on Tuesday to win the title in the final. Nepal reached the final by winning the group stage match for the fourth time in a row.
